Tuma's Books

Tuma's Books is a NYC based online/popup bookstore that specializes in curating books with diverse cultural representation. We celebrate diversity and support authors who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.

In addition to our unique selection of books for all ages, we also have programs that give back to our community, such as the Free Diverse Books Fund. Reading, Literacy, and Access are important to us and so we offer free books for kids when we can. We also have a Giving Back Reading Recs collection with books by authors from countries experiencing humanitarian crisis. This humanizes the people suffering and we donate 20% of sales to nonprofit organizations.
